Many thanks to the competitors, bands, and stewards for an enjoyable and successful Maine Highland Games on August 15. We were fortunate enough to have weather that was dry, if a bit warm, and a pretty good turnout at the gate. The results from the solo and band competitions have been posted on the Results page, and at this time have also been posted on the EUSPBA website. Thanks again to all who participated!

Entry deadline extended!
In speaking with some competitors at the Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival this weekend, there were several people who seemed surprised that the entry deadline for Maine had arrived so soon. As a result, we’ll be extending the postmark deadline until August 1, so you still have time to get your forms in. Please remember to include a self-addressed stamped envelope and indicate on the form which grade and events you’d like to play in.
One week left to register
The registration deadline for the Maine Highland Games is just seven days away! If you’ve been waiting to send in your entry form, this would be a fine time to send it in.
Remember to enclose a check for your entry fee, as well as a self-addressed stamped envelope. Your entry confirmation and admission tickets will be sent out around August 1, and order of play will be posted on this website at about that time.

Entry form updated
A slight change was made to the entry form: a line for city, state, and ZIP code was added below the address line. The links on this site have been updated with the new version.
If you’ve already sent in your entry you don’t need to do anything, but if you haven’t registered yet please use the form available here. Remember that July 18 is the postmark deadline!

The mail on Thursday brought the first of the solo entry forms. There’s plenty of time left, but just something to be thinking about. It’s never too early to register, but after July 18 it will be too late.
